The care team also works closely with the hospital’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Center to assist immunocompromised children and teens who suffer from multiple episodes of infection.
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Laboratory Medicine, the division’s Virology Diagnostic Center uses the following tests for rapid diagnosis of many common illnesses, including respiratory, gastrointestinal and central nervous system (CNS) infections.
