Melina Sadeghi, MPAS, PA-C
Melina Sadeghi is a board-certified physician assistant within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a concentration in epidemiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Ms. Sadeghi completed her training as a physician assistant with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Florida International University in her hometown of Miami. She then continued her training with an advanced practice provider pediatric acute care fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. During this time, she conducted a quality improvement project focused on reducing the time for pain medication to be administered to patients with sickle cell disease in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Ms. Sadeghi provided care to neurosurgery patients at Nicklaus Children’s before transitioning to the PICU.
Ms. Sadeghi is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics.
Ms. Sadeghi is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Farsi.
