Pediatrician
Dr. Ennio M. Colon is a pediatrician within the Division of Primary Care at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Dr. Colon completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. His clinical interests include pediatric preventive care and infectious diseases.
Dr. Colon has been in practice for more than two decades. He is board certified in general pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Colon is involved with many community activities that advocate for children including, but not limited to, Autism Speak walkathons.
Dr. Colon is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
