Miami — Power 96 and morning talk show host DJ Laz raised over $160,000 this year during their 36-hour Radiothon benefiting Miami Children’s Hospital’s Radio Lollipop program. The innovative, in-house radio station was designed to stimulate the minds and raise the spirits of young patients in the hospital. Power 96 accepted donations from the community at several Walmart locations in Miami-Date and Broward Counties on August 11 and 12. One hundred percent of proceeds benefited Miami Children’s Hospital.
