Meet Anya, Lily and Kian: First set of triplets delivered at Jupiter Medical Center, a Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Affiliate

August 01, 2022 – Lana was speechless when she and her partner found out they were expecting triplets after a successful IVF fertility treatment. The couple experienced many emotions, including excitement about growing their family, and concern about whether there would be any health risks associated with carrying the triplets to full term. At 32 weeks, Lana delivered the triplets at Jupiter Medical Center.

Leonardo Finds His Voice

November 08, 2021 – Leonardo’s vocal cords were fused from birth, causing him difficulty breathing with any type of common cold and preventing the child from speaking. Fortunately, his condition was treatable and involved a surgery to separate his fused vocal cords into two healthy vocal cords.

This distinguished certification highlights their commitment to clinical excellence and quality patient care for our most vulnerable population at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

ENT Surgeon Participates in Mission Trip to Peru

July 01, 2019 – Pediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon Dr. Brian Ho recently participated in a mission trip to Cusco, Peru. The trip was organized by Support Our Smiles, a nonprofit comprised of medical professionals who volunteer their time to deliver comprehensive ENT care to underserved children around the world. Dr. Ho, in collaboration with colleagues from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, evaluated more than 100 children, performed more than 20 surgeries, visited a school for hearing-impaired children and conducted approximately 50 hearing tests. Dr. Ho looks forward to returning to Cusco for another mission trip this September.
