The Nicklaus Children's Hospital Dan Marino Outpatient Center in Weston, FL is an outpatient pediatric neuro-developmental center recognized internationally for its comprehensive care program for autism and other developmental / cognitive disorders in children referred from all over the world.
The Center also coordinates community outreach projects that include the services of specialized medical and allied healthcare professionals, educational organizations, volunteer programs and parent support organizations.
August 30, 2024 – Santi brings joy to everyone around him, despite his medical limitations. At only age 7, Santi has memorized the telephone numbers of all his favorite people, including some of his nurses at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
April 30, 2024 – Grethell had a large and extremely rare tumor under her jaw that required surgical resection. Thankfully, Adilia, Grethell's mother, found Nicklaus Children's Hospital and from Nicaragua, they made the journey for treatment.
April 16, 2024 – Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, part of the hospital’s renowned Brain Institute, has been reaccredited as a level 4 epilepsy center for 2024-2025 by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC).
April 18, 2022 – Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center has been reaccredited as a level 4 epilepsy center for 2022-23 by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). It is one of few pediatric epilepsy centers in the state designated as level 4.
