Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Dr. Salgueiro is a child and adolescent psychologist. She earned her doctorate from the Miami Institute of Psychology/Caribbean Center for Advanced Studies. She then completed a psychology internship at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the United States Department of Justice-Dependency Court Intervention Program for Family Violence - PREVENT (Prevention and Evaluation of Early Neglect and Trauma) with the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida in Miami.
Dr. Salgueiro is a member of the American Psychological Association. Her clinical interests include adolescent therapy, family therapy, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, assessment, learning disorders and developmental delays.
She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
