What’s New on Campus

We’re making great progress with construction of the hospital’s new surgical suites, set to open in 2024. The suites are replacing older operating rooms in need of upgrades to accommodate the latest equipment and surgical teams.

What’s more, we’ve moved our helistop pad – serving critically ill transfer and trauma patients – to the top of the hospital’s bed tower, further reducing noise.

Managing Growth Through More South Florida Locations

Did you know? Most of Nicklaus Children’s outpatient services growth is associated with our expanding network of ambulatory centers, extending from Homestead to Martin County. These outlying services reduce non urgent visits to our main campus.

We have more than 20 locations including urgent care centers, rehabilitation services locations, dental program and specialty clinician offices.

Coming Soon! Neighborhood Fitness Trail

Fitness will be just steps away for our neighbors in Schenley Park, with the spring 2024 opening of the planned Fitness Trail. The 11-station trail, suggested and endorsed by the Schenley Park community in the fall of 2023, is being constructed on the east, west and south sides of the perimeter.
