Janeris Loredo, MD
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Janeris Loredo is a child and adolescent psychiatrist within the Department of Psychiatry at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. Dr. Loredo completed a residency in psychiatry at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Loredo then pursued a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Her clinical interests include attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), major depressive disorder and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Loredo is board certified in psychiatry, as well as in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Academy of Psychiatry and the American Medical Association. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has contributed to medical research and presented at national conferences.
Dr. Loredo is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
