Miami — Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH)
Research Institute has been awarded full accreditation from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc., (AAHRPP) following an intensive site visit in July. The hospital is the first pediatric facility in the state and one of the few children’s hospitals in the nation to receive this recognition. AAHRPP is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 to ensure research compliance and promote uniform standards for the protection of human subjects.

Miami Children’s Research Institute is one of the largest providers of pediatric medical research in the United States It currently participates in approximately 260 clinical research protocols involving new medications and interventions for children with complex medical needs.
