This is what one of the families Jose cared for shared, “PICU BOYS Jose and Kevin are amazing angels they have such great patience. PICU is stressful, and as a parent emotions are high. These guys don't wear capes, but they should. They treated us as if we are the only ones on the floor. They give you time, they listened to our child and us, they always reassure and kept us aware of everything. Truly the entire PICU team are amazing warriors. They literally make that floor look like a breeze, even though each room has a patient fighting a battle. The care and attention blew my mind.”
