What is congenital toxoplasmosis?

Also known as: Toxoplasma gondii infection.

Toxoplasma gondii is a parasite that causes a disease commonly known as the toxoplasmosis. When the parasite is passed to an unborn fetus by the mother, this is known as congenital toxoplasmosis.
