MIAMI, FL. The Miami Children’s Hospital Child Care Center has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is the largest and most widely recognized accreditation system for early childhood schools and child care centers.
“Receiving this accreditation is a great accomplishment, but it also signifies our ongoing commitment to provide the best child care program to our children,” said Aleyda Sosa, director of the Child Care Program at Miami Children's. “It is our goal to go beyond our children’s and their families’ expectations everyday.”
The Child Care Center staff underwent a voluntary comprehensive process of internal self-study, and external professional review to verify compliance with the NAEYC’s criteria for high-quality early childhood programs. The NAEYC defines a high-quality early childhood program as one that provides a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children.
