Helenemarie Blake Joins Nicklaus Children's Health System as Vice President and Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

Helenemarie Blake has been appointed vice president and chief compliance and privacy officer at Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is responsible for all operations and processes related to the system’s ethics, compliance and privacy program, and code of business and legal conduct.

Blake comes to the health system – parent organization of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital – from University of Miami, where she served as data privacy officer for the university at large and chief privacy and data integrity officer for the University of Miami Health System. Previously, she served as a partner with the law firm of Fowler White Burnett, PA, representing health systems and hospitals in both litigation and regulatory proceedings.

Blake earned her bachelor’s degree from John Hopkins University and a juris doctor degree from the University of Miami.
