MIAMI — Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) has been recognized once again as one of the top training facilities in the nation by Training Magazine. MCH was ranked 14th among the nation’s Top 125 Training Organizations. This is the highest training achievement for Miami Children’s Hospital to date. MCH has been included in the magazine’s list every year since 2006.
The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, innovative learning solutions, quality and quantity of certifications offered to employees, web-based knowledge exchange, leadership development programs, and alignment to business strategy and goals. MCH shares this prestigious recognition with the following big name corporations: FedEx, Microsoft, Ritz Carlton, Starbucks, US Navy, Cerner and NY Presbyterian Hospital.
Miami Children’s Hospital offers over 125 certification programs annually for basic and advanced life support, neonatal and pediatric resuscitation, and medical trauma and leadership certifications. Its education department, accredited by the American Heart Association and Trauma Center, serves as a certified training center for employees, local fire fighters, paramedics, as well as patients and their families.
